Planning and Design Code Variations

Created 16/10/2024

Updated 16/10/2024

The Planning and Design Code (P&D Code) Technical and Numeric Variations (TNVs) are areas within a zone where there is necessary and appropriate local variations to technical or numeric requirements of the Code's parameters, or recognise unique character attributes in the P&D Code under the Planning, Development and Infrastructure Act 2016 (PDI Act 2016). P&D Code Variations represent the spatial boundaries that provide additional guidance for development on 'what' can happen in an area.

The data is updated fortnightly and can be viewed in the South Australian Property and Planning Atlas (SAPPA).

NOTE: all the TNVs have been combined into a single dataset and individual TNVs can be viewed by doing a definition query on the name field.
