The grids show the number of days of rainfall across Australia in the form of two-dimensional array data. The indices are based on the period 1961 to 1990. These "days of rain" maps show the average number of days, for each month and annually, when rainfall totals exceeded values ranging from 1, 2, 3, 5, 10 and 25mm.
