Created 24/06/2017

Updated 24/06/2017

This dataset contains a time-series of oceanographic data collected weekly from several stations in Storm Bay using the 14m launch FRV Scottsman from 1985 to 1990. A transect of seven stations was sampled for the first year, with the master station (station 3) sampled every week for the remainder. Samples were collected for salinity, dissolved oxygen, chlorophyll, dissolved organic carbon, inorganic nutrients, organic nutrients, phytoplankton biomass, zooplankton biomass and species composition in two size fractions (200 and 37 micrometres). Data was supplied by Lesley Clementson for total and dissolved nutrients and chlorophyll data. see data link. The hydrology data are stored on-line as part of the CMR hydrology archive in Hobart. This data including nutrients is available via the Data Trawler. See data links. Additional data exists only as 4 boxes of computer printouts. These boxes are listed in TRIM records: AB2010/392; AB2010/393; AB2010/394; AB2010/395.
