Vocational education and training course enrolments by industry and subindustry

Created 05/05/2025

Updated 05/05/2025

Vocational education and training (VET) course enrolments by industry and occupation shows the relationship between the number of student enrolments into a course by industry and related occupations. The number of VET course enrolments is included from 2008. The source of all enrolment data is the Department of Education and Early Childhood Development (DEECD), government subsidised funded enrolments, accredited (state or national) qualifications only (excludes foundation training), July 2014. We use the Australian Bureau of Statistics (ABS) industry classifications, known as the Australian and New Zealand Standard Industrial Classification (ANZSIC) codes. Industries are then narrowed further by the ANZSIC sub-industry codes
