This dataset is a soils map of Mutdapilly Research Station in South East Queensland. The study area covers part of the Harrisville (9442-3) 1:50,000 mapsheet. Approximately 467 hectares of land were mapped at 1:10,000 scale during 1989, extending the original 378 hectares mapped in 1985. The grid survey method was used, and seventeen soil profile classes were identified.Mutdapilly Research Station was closed in 2010 and the land sold. The research facilities were relocated to Gatton.
