This dataset describes the soils of part of the former CSIRO Wycanna Woodland Experimental area in Southern Queensland. The study area covers part of the Talwood (8741-1) 1:50,000 scale mapsheet. Approximately 56 hectares were mapped at 1:4000 scale during 1986. The grid survey method was used, and six soils were identified.
