This dataset is a soil map of the Walkamin Research Station, Far North Queensland. The study area covers part of the Tolga (7963-1) 1:50,000 map sheet. Approximately 259 hectares of land were mapped at 1:10,000 scale during 1996. 150 sites were assessed using the traverse survey method and 9 soil types were identified.
