This dataset is a soils map of the Selkirk section of the Burdekin River Irrigation Area, northwest of Ayr in North Queensland. This high intensity soil survey (1:25 000) was undertaken for the primary purpose of assisting with irrigation farm design. Selkirk Section covers 5,596 ha and is located around the West Barratta Creek system.
