This dataset is a soils map of the Ingham area of North Queensland. It is part of a larger land suitability study of the Wet Tropical Coast area.The survey describes the land resources of an area 50km south of Ingham to 40km to the north. The resources are described in terms of climate, geology, geomorphology, hydrology, natural vegetation and soils. A total of 43 soils were identified and mapped, and cover 160 270 ha of coastal lowland.
