This dataset is a soils map of the southern portions of the Logan and Albert Rivers Catchment area in south-east Queensland based on 1496 individual observations. The mapping covers part(s) of the Rathdowney, Grevillia, Woodenbong, Mount Alford, Ipswich, Bromelton, Tyalgum, Canungra, Tamborine and Beenleigh 1:50,000 key map sheets (9441-1, 9441-2, 9441-3, 9441-4, 9442-1, 9442-2, 9541-3, 9541-4, 9542-3, 9542-4) and was completed in 2019. The mapping is at a scale of 1:50,000 and 93 soil profile classes (with 9 variants and 5 phases) were identified.
