This dataset is a soil map of the Inglewood-Talwood-Tara-Glenmorgan area, Southern Queensland. The study area covers parts of the Goondiwindi, St George, Dalby, and Surat (SH56-1, SH55-4, SG56-13, SG55-16) 1:250,000 map sheets. Approximately 22,000 square kilometres of land were mapped at a broad scale of 1:250,000 in the early 1950's. Sites were assessed using the free survey method and 61 soils were identified.
